The database now contains information on over 7,000 sponsorship deals in Asia as well as the estimated values of sponsorship deals in the region.

In 2006, iPhox signed a six million euro agreement with the China Football Association (CFA) to sponsor China’s Super League football competition. Chasing the sponsorship fee has been difficult for the CFA.

As Indonesia prepares to host the 2008 Asian Beach Games in October, the hunt continues for sponsors willing to commit to the event. Head of the National Training Camp for the Asian Beach Games, Djoko Pramono said that five companies had already agreed to sponsorships, including Pertamina, Panasonic, and official apparel sponsor Carisbrook.
